Da war das Filesharing n\u00e4mlich Dreh- und Angelpunkt: Man konnte kostenlos jeden Musiktitel kostenlos herunterladen. Das war nat\u00fcrlich illegal &#8211; aber ein Meilenstein der Social Media-Geschichte. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u00bbFilesharing\u00ab: Direkte Weitergabe bzw. Austausch von Dateien zwischen zwei und mehr Internetusern. Die Dateien befinden sich auf den Computern der Teilnehmer oder auf Servern und werden von dort aus verteilt. In der Regel werden Dateien von den einzelnen Nutzern gleichzeitig sowohl heruntergeladen als auch hochgeladen. F\u00fcr den Zugriff sind spezielle Programme oder Browser erforderlich.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Napster wurde 1998 als Peer-to-Peer-Filesharing-Plattform gegr\u00fcndet. Es war also ein Netzwerk, \u00fcber das Verbindungen zwischen Rechnern hergestellt werden konnten, um Daten (vorrangig Audiodateien im MP3-Format) auszutauschen. Dieser kostenlose Austausch von Musik bescherte Napster juristische Auseinandersetzung mit gro\u00dfen Plattenfirmen. Im Juli 2001 musste Napster daraufhin schlie\u00dfen. Unter der Marke Napster wird heute ein Onlineshop f\u00fcr Musik betrieben. Noch vor Napster kamen allerdings erst mal die Chats. Los ging es 1988 mit IRC, dem Vorg\u00e4nger des Mitte der 90er-Jahre entwickelten ICQ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fortan konnten Mallorca-Flirts und interkontinentale Brieffreundschaften bequem vom heimischen Sofa aus am Leben erhalten werden. Alles, was man brauchte, war ein Internetzugang und ein PC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der Austausch per ICQ hat in der Geschichte der Social Media Spuren hinterlassen: Viele Abk\u00fcrzungen, die heute noch in SMS oder in sozialen Netzwerken benutzt werden, sind in den Hochzeiten von ICQ entstanden, ebenso wie die Benutzung von Smileys in SMS und E-Mails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u00bbICQ\u00ab: Ein Computerprogramm, das den Versand von Textnachrichten in Echtzeit erlaubt. Diese sogenannten Instant-Messaging-Dienste (kurz IM) werden heute auch einfach als Chat (deutsch plaudern) bezeichnet. ICQ wurde erstmalig 1996 entwickelt und zum kostenlosen Download bereitgestellt. \u00dcber das Programm konnten registrierte Mitglieder untereinander Textnachrichten und Links austauschen. Laut Time Warner hat ICQ auch heutzutage noch \u00fcber 100 Millionen registrierte Nutzer.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vom Messenger zu Skype<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Auch die Idee, sich f\u00fcr Internetplattformen ein zweites Ich, den sogenannten Avatar, zuzulegen, spricht man den Instant-Messaging-Diensten zu. <br>\nIn den 90er-Jahren konnte ein \u00dcbersee-Telefonat schnell teurer werden als ein schickes Dinner. Heutzutage gucken die Telefonanbieter in die R\u00f6hre, denn die Software Skype erm\u00f6glicht kostenlose Telefonate von Computer zu Computer \u2013 und damit sogar von Kontinent zu Kontinent. In der integrierten Chat-Funktion sind die lustigen Smileys, sogenannte Emoticons, fester Bestandteil der digitalen Unterhaltung. Ein \u00dcberbleibsel aus den IM-Zeiten! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u00bbEmoticon\u00ab: Eine Komposition aus Emotion und Icon (deutsch Bildzeichen). Gemeint sind damit Zeichenfolgen, die aus Satzzeichen hergestellt werden, um Gesichtsausdr\u00fccke zu imitieren. Das ber\u00fchmteste Emoticon ist der Smiley \ud83d\ude42 Mit Emoticons werden digitale Botschaften wie z. B. in E-Mails, Statusmeldungen oder Chat-Nachrichten um Stimmungen erg\u00e4nzt. Mittlerweile ersetzen viele Internetdienste und Programme (beispielsweise Word und Outlook) g\u00e4ngige Emoticons automatisch durch Grafiken. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vielleicht erinnerst du dich noch an Napster?
